Surfacing options are as follows:
Rough Cut - One side rough sawn and one side planed
Smooth - Both sides planed.
Tongue and Groove (T&G) - T&G with both sides planed. T&G is available in both square edge or V-shaped, as well as shiplap.
Planing service (per side) is $0.50 per sq ft added to the rough cut board price. T&G with the planing service (both sides) is $1.50 per sq ft added to the rough cut board price. The chart below breaks these charges down for various widths and species into sq ft pricing. Lengths can vary.
Note: sq ft = thickness x width x length / 12 -- ex. 1x4x8/12 = 2.67 sq ft
